Ian Milne, the 2006 PGA National Minority Individual Golf Champion, was recently honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The junior, Deland, Florida native, was named as an honorary member of the GCAA Division II All-American Team.
The GCAA, founded in 1958, has developed programs to honor outstanding achievements in college golf. The awards and honors presented by the association pay tribute to the coaches, the golf achievements of the student athletics, and individual who have greatly contribute to the game of golf. To be selected to the All-American Team, a player must be named to PING All-District Team or finished in the top 15 at the NCAA Championship.
