Fayetteville State University Athletics

Nikole Akamine, a graduate student pursuing an MBA, joins Fayetteville State as a new graduate assistant following her senior season with the Broncos. She hails from Bolivia-Santa Cruz and attended Eagles’ School. Previously, she played for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where she earned numerous accolades, including All SWAC (D1) Conference 1st Team Setter, two-time All SWAC (D1) Conference 2nd Team Setter, and two-time MVP. Academically distinguished, she maintained honors from her freshman year through graduation.

In the 2023 season for FSU, she recorded 492 assists, 60 service aces, and 209 digs, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication on the court.
