Biography

Kaliayah Smith, wearing jersey #7, is a freshman at Fayetteville State University, majoring in Sport Management. Standing at 5’6" and hailing from Statesville, NC, she graduated from Statesville High School in 2024, where she excelled in volleyball and softball. As a middle blocker/outside hitter, she was named the Best Offensive Player for the 2023-2024 season. Kaliayah’s most memorable sports moment was winning a fun contest during her junior volleyball season. Inspired by her mother, Latosha, Kaliayah aims to help others and dreams of playing professional volleyball. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and watching movies. She chose FSU for its strong team bond and supportive environment.
