Ms. Tyler Hunter, a native of Atlanta, GA, has an impressive volleyball background. She was the varsity captain during her junior and senior years at North Atlanta High School and played club volleyball with Atlanta Boom Volleyball Club as a right-side and outside hitter. She continued her volleyball career at Pasco-Hernando State College for her freshman and sophomore years before transferring to Shaw University in 2018. At Shaw, she was a key player, leading the team to a CIAA Championship in 2018 and earning the title of lead hitter in the championship. In 2019, she was named to the CIAA All-CI’s First Team and ranked #1 in D2 for service aces per set. Transitioning to coaching, Ms. Hunter became an assistant coach at Shaw University in 2021, contributing to another CIAA Championship win in 2023. Since 2019, she has also been coaching club volleyball with Carolina Advantage in Raleigh, NC.
