Angelo Redden, born on May 7, 1999, in Alton, IL, is a senior psychology major at Fayetteville State University. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 330 pounds, Angelo plays as an offensive lineman (OL). He graduated from Alton High School in 2018, where he helped his team reach the IHSA playoffs for the first time in 25 years. After redshirting in 2018, he transferred from the College of Dupage, where he anchored a top-ranked rushing line in the NJCAA. In 2021, he played in all 11 games for the NJCAA III National Champions, contributing to their top rankings in points, rushing yards, and total offense. Angelo’s career goals include making it into the NFL or securing a job within the sport of football. Influenced by his hardworking mother, Kenna Sumpter, Angelo also enjoys singing and cherishes his memorable JUCO experiences. He chose FSU for its HBCU atmosphere and the opportunity to compete and learn at an illustrious university.
