Fayetteville State University Athletics

Senior guard Alivia "Liv" Evans brings leadership, academic excellence, and experience to the Fayetteville State women's basketball program. A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Evans has developed into a dependable contributor on and off the court while pursuing one of the university's most challenging academic disciplines.

An outstanding student-athlete, Evans earned the program's Academic Award for Highest GPA, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in the classroom. She is currently majoring in Nursing and plans to pass the NCLEX examination and begin her career as a registered nurse following graduation.

Evans chose Fayetteville State because of its family atmosphere, winning tradition, player development, and nationally respected nursing program. She credits the university's support system and numerous resources for helping her successfully balance the demands of academics and athletics.

Away from basketball, Evans enjoys drawing and reading, while her oldest sister, Sydney Surratt, has served as her biggest athletic influence and source of inspiration. Her dedication both as a student and athlete reflects the values of the Fayetteville State community.

As she concludes her collegiate career, Evans continues to exemplify what it means to be a Bronco through her commitment to teamwork, academic achievement, and personal growth.
