Fayetteville State University Athletics

Rebecca Kaba is a sophomore center/forward for the Fayetteville State University women’s basketball team, bringing size, strength, and a quiet determination to the Broncos’ frontcourt. A Fayetteville native, Kaba began her collegiate career at Davis & Elkins College before transferring to FSU to continue her academic and athletic journey.

Majoring in Pre-Nursing, Kaba plans to become a labor and delivery nurse and eventually open multiple businesses. Off the court, she enjoys volleyball and has a hidden talent for braiding hair. Her most memorable sports experience was her senior year playoff run, a moment that solidified her love for the game and her competitive spirit.

Kaba credits her faith in God as the guiding force in her life, and she chose Fayetteville State because it felt like home—a place where she could thrive both personally and professionally.
