Redshirt junior Armani "Kash" Reid brings a proven scoring pedigree and strong leadership presence to the Fayetteville State women's basketball program. Hailing from Jacksonville, North Carolina, Reid arrived at FSU after beginning her collegiate career at Winthrop University and quickly embraced the Bronco culture.
A standout at Southwest Onslow High School, Reid compiled an impressive list of accomplishments during her prep career. She was a member of the 1,000-Point Club, earned East Central 2A Conference Player of the Year honors in 2023, and was named 2A Conference 6 Player of the Year the same season. Reid also garnered All-Area honors four times and was recognized as Area Player of the Year twice, solidifying her reputation as one of the top players in the region.
Reid chose Fayetteville State because of the family atmosphere she felt from the moment she met the coaching staff and visited campus. She values the welcoming environment within the university community and believes the Bronco family provides a sense of belonging both on and off the court.
In the classroom, Reid is pursuing a degree in Sports Management. Following graduation, she hopes to continue her basketball career overseas or establish her own AAU basketball program and training facility to help develop future generations of athletes.
Away from basketball, Reid enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, and fishing. She credits her faith and relationship with God as her greatest athletic influence, helping guide her throughout her journey as a student-athlete.
