Aliyah Brown, a dedicated DS/Libero from Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a senior at Fayetteville State University, majoring in Sports. Standing at 5’2", Aliyah has a strong volleyball background, being a four-year letterman at Grays Creek High School and earning all-conference honors every year. She also received the first team all-conference award in high school. At the collegiate level, she has been recognized with Region 10 All-Academic Honors for both Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. Aliyah’s career goals include acquiring the skills necessary to achieve her desired success post-graduation, and she is eager to embrace new opportunities. Outside of sports, Aliyah has a hidden talent for cooking and enjoys spending quality time with her family. She credits her mother, Chassidy Brown, as the most influential person in her life. Aliyah chose FSU for its supportive environment and to continue her academic and athletic journey.

Aliyah's volleyball stats for the 2023 season highlight her defensive prowess. She played in 79 sets across 29 matches, recording 206 digs with an average of 2.61 digs per set. Offensively, she contributed 36 assists and 11 service aces. Despite limited offensive opportunities, her defensive skills and consistency on the court are evident.
