Fayetteville State University Athletics

A’Lexus Everett, a senior at Fayetteville State University, is a standout in both academics and athletics. Born on February 14, 2003, in Detroit, MI, A’Lexus graduated from Renaissance High School in 2021. She transferred from Grambling State University and is now majoring in Nursing. A’Lexus has earned recognition as an All CIAA First Team player in 2023. Her career goals include becoming a nurse, owning multiple businesses, and investing in land. In her free time, she enjoys partying, watching TV, and hanging out with friends. A’Lexus credits her mother, Shamina Everett, as the most influential person in her life for her unwavering support and hard work. She chose FSU for its excellent nursing program and the winning culture of its athletic department.

In her volleyball career, A’Lexus Everett has shown significant improvement and consistency. Over two seasons, she played a total of 180 sets across 53 matches. Offensively, she accumulated 334 kills with an average of 1.86 kills per set and a hitting percentage of 0.244. She also contributed 9 assists. Defensively, A’Lexus made 60 digs, averaging 0.33 digs per set, and had 94 total blocks. She scored a total of 390 points, averaging 2.17 points per set. Her performance in 2023 was particularly notable, with 234 kills and 63 total blocks.
