Biography
Cheyenne Walker is a freshman jumper for Fayetteville State University. A native of Jacksonville, N.C., Walker graduated from Northside High School in 2025, where she was a standout multi-sport athlete and an integral part of championship-level teams.
At Northside, Walker competed in soccer, cheer, basketball, volleyball, and track & field, showcasing her versatility and athleticism. She was a member of state and regional championship teams, gaining valuable competitive experience across multiple sports and environments before transitioning to the collegiate level.
Walker is majoring in Nursing and chose Fayetteville State for its strong academic reputation and commitment to preparing students for success in the healthcare field. She aspires to become a travel labor and delivery nurse, combining her passion for helping others with opportunities to serve communities across the country.
Off the track, Walker enjoys playing soccer and spending time staying active. She credits her mother, Nicole, as the most influential person in her life, citing her optimism and positive outlook as daily sources of inspiration.
Known for her upbeat personality and unique hidden talent—she can move her ears—Walker brings energy, adaptability, and a team-first mindset to the Broncos’ program as she begins her collegiate career.
