Born on July 6, 2025, in Pitt County, North Carolina, she attended E.E. Smith High School before joining Fayetteville State University. As a sophomore, she continues to excel both academically and athletically.
In the 2024 season, Kevana Deberry showcased her exceptional skills as a pitcher. She recorded an impressive ERA of 2.45 over 120 innings pitched, with a total of 150 strikeouts. Kevana's control and precision on the mound were evident as she maintained a WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched) of 1.10. Her standout performances included three complete games and one shutout, contributing significantly to her team's success. Kevana's dedication and hard work were recognized as she earned several accolades, including being named to the All-Conference First Team.
