William Johnson is a speedy and agile wide receiver and kick returner for the Broncos, known for his quickness and playmaking ability. A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Johnson graduated from Northside-Jacksonville High School in 2024, where he was a 2x All-Conference athlete (football and baseball) and earned 2x All-Area honors in football. He also competed in track, further showcasing his athletic versatility.
Now a sophomore at Fayetteville State University, Johnson is majoring in Sports Management and has already made an impact on the field, appearing in 3 games and recording 9 kick returns for 230 yards.
Off the field, William enjoys playing video games and has a hidden talent for cooking. He credits his mother, Sabrina Johnson, as the most influential person in his life, saying she’s been his motivation and reason to keep pushing forward. He chose FSU because it felt like the right fit academically, athletically, and personally.
William is also active in his community, participating in events like the Back to School Bash at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC.
