Tyler McMullen is a powerful and determined offensive lineman for the Broncos, known for his size and strength in the trenches. A native of Sanford, North Carolina, McMullen graduated from Lee County High School in 2023, where he also competed in track and field, notably excelling in shot put.
One of his most memorable athletic achievements was breaking the school’s shot put record during his junior year and qualifying for states as a freshman, showcasing his explosive power and competitive spirit.
Now a sophomore at Fayetteville State University, McMullen is majoring in Business and has big aspirations—either making it to the league or becoming a successful business owner, with a goal to retire by age 50.
Off the field, Tyler enjoys throwing shot put and has a unique background in bowling, a hidden talent from his earlier years. He credits both his parents as the most influential people in his life:
- His mother, Keyetta Pearson, for showing him unconditional love and always being there when he needed her.
- His father, for teaching him that being thrown into tough situations reveals true potential and that hard times build strength.
Tyler chose Fayetteville State because it felt like the right place for him to grow personally and athletically, describing it as a place that was truly meant for him.
