Tristan Waters is a dynamic defensive back for the Broncos, bringing speed, athleticism, and championship experience to the secondary. A native of Washington, DC, Waters graduated from Dunbar High School in 2025, where he built an impressive resume as a 2x DCIAA City Champion, 2x DCIAA 1st Team WR, 1x DCIAA 1st Team KR, 1x DCIAA 1st Team DB, and 2025 Pigskin Best Athlete Award recipient. He also helped lead his team to a state championship, solidifying his reputation as one of the top athletes in the region.
Now a freshman at Fayetteville State University, Waters is majoring in Sports Management and is focused on continuing his football journey at the collegiate level. Off the field, he enjoys hooping and has a hidden talent for drawing.
Tristan credits his mother as the most influential person in his life, sharing that she sacrificed everything to ensure he had every opportunity to succeed. He chose FSU because it felt like the best decision during his recruitment—a place where he could grow academically, athletically, and personally.
