Matthew Rowland is a powerful addition to the Broncos' offensive line, bringing size and strength to the trenches at 6’2” and 370 pounds. A native of Lithonia, Georgia, Rowland graduated from Stephenson High School in 2025, where he earned Honor Roll recognition, All-County, and All-Region honors for his performance both on the field and in the classroom.

Now a freshman at Fayetteville State University, Rowland is majoring in Computer Science and looks forward to pursuing a career in IT after graduation. He chose FSU for its welcoming environment and the opportunity to experience a close-knit, family-like atmosphere while growing academically and athletically.

Off the field, Matthew enjoys playing video games and has a hidden talent for drawing and skateboarding. He credits his aunt as the most influential person in his life, noting her constant encouragement and support in helping him stay grounded and focused. His most memorable sports moment was being part of Stephenson High School’s historic run to the Final Four — the first in school history.
