Biography

Malik Head, a 6’2", 295-pound defensive lineman from Snellville, Georgia, is a graduate student at Fayetteville State University, majoring in Secondary Education and Physical Health. An alumnus of Shiloh High School, Malik was honored as Lineman of the Year in 2017 and served as team captain in 2018. He transferred from Livingstone College, where he earned accolades such as being on the Preseason HBCU Defensive Lineman Watchlist, DraftHBCU’s Preseason #1 Rated Defensive Tackle in Division 2 in 2022, and The CFB Network’s Preseason All-CIAA in 2022. Malik’s career aspirations include making it to the NFL or leveraging his degrees for a successful career. Outside of football, he enjoys fishing and has a hidden talent for singing, a skill he honed in his youth. His most memorable sports moments include winning a championship in 8th grade and defeating Johnson C. Smith in the Commemorative Classic in 2022.
