Malachi Cord is a reliable and skilled long snapper for the Broncos, standing at 6’4” and weighing 215 pounds. A native of New London, North Carolina, Cord graduated from North Stanly High School in 2022 and has steadily built his collegiate career at Fayetteville State University.

Cord earned 2nd Team HBCU All-American honors in 2022, showcasing his precision and consistency in one of football’s most specialized roles. Now a senior majoring in Sport & Fitness Management, he plans to pursue a career in facility management or any field that keeps him connected to the world of sports.

He chose FSU for its strong academic and athletic environment, describing it as a place that felt like home. In addition to his athletic contributions, Malachi is active in community service, having participated in the Senior Olympics at Methodist University in the spring of 2025.
