Biography

Josiah Boyd is a junior at the university, majoring in Sport and Fitness Management. He hails from Fayetteville, NC, and attended Seventy First High School. Josiah is a talented Kicker/Punter who has received numerous accolades for his exceptional performance on the field. In 2023, he was named the CIAA Special Teams Player of the Week in Week #8, and he also earned a spot on the 2023 CIAA All-Rookie Team and the 2023 First Team All-CIAA. His achievements have continued into 2024 with the recognition of being named Preseason All-CIAA. In addition to his football prowess, Josiah also played varsity basketball and soccer in high school. He is dedicated to excelling both academically and athletically, making him an asset to the university's sports program.
