Fayetteville State University Athletics

Ja'Quez Dixon is a freshman defensive end for the Fayetteville State University Broncos, known for his size, athleticism, and competitive edge. A multi-sport athlete at Farmville Central High School, Dixon excelled in football, basketball, and track & field—earning a basketball championship and placing third in the state for track events.

Driven by a strong work ethic and inspired by his father, Javius Dixon, Ja'Quez brings intensity and leadership to the field. His most memorable sports moment was winning his first championship ring, a testament to his dedication and team-first mentality. Off the field, he enjoys shot put and discus throwing, and is pursuing a degree in Computer Science with aspirations of joining the NFL or working with NASA.

Ja'Quez chose FSU for its welcoming environment and the strength of its football coaching staff. He’s also committed to giving back, having volunteered to train younger football players in his community.
