Donovan “Don” Woods, a junior at Fayetteville State University, is a dedicated Business Administration major and a standout defensive back (DB) on the football team. Born on March 25, 2003, in Charlotte, NC, Don graduated from Butler High School in 2021, where he earned SW4A All-Conference honors from 2019 to 2021. Standing at 5’11” and weighing 180 lbs, he transferred from West Virginia Wesleyan, where he had an impressive collegiate career. As a sophomore, he recorded 40 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 9 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 touchdowns, and 406 total kick-off return yards. In his freshman season, despite playing only six games, he made 25 total tackles, 1 interception, and 6 pass breakups, starting as a true freshman. Don’s career goals include finding success and discovering his purpose beyond football. In his free time, he enjoys playing games with friends and watching YouTube.
