Fayetteville State University Athletics

Devin Hackstall is an emerging linebacker for the Broncos, known for his athleticism and versatility. A native of High Point, North Carolina, Hackstall graduated from T.W. Andrews High School in 2025, where he was a 3x All-Conference football player and earned All-Area honors. He also competed in basketball, showcasing his multi-sport talent.

Now a sophomore at Fayetteville State University, Hackstall is majoring in Business Marketing with aspirations to own Airbnbs and investment properties after graduation. Off the field, he enjoys relaxing and playing the piano—a hidden talent that reflects his creative side.

Devin credits his father, Deon Hackstall, as the most influential person in his life, admiring his hard work and perseverance. That same mindset drives Devin’s football journey. He chose FSU because, in his words, “we are champions,” and he wanted to be part of a winning culture led by dedicated coaches.
