Kevin Magouirk

Kevin Magouirk (Pronounced Ma-gwerk) is the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Fayetteville State University.

In his first year with the Broncos, Magouirk’s offense showed marked improvement and balance. Fayetteville State averaged 330.7 yards per game, including 226.4 passing yards and 104.2 rushing yards, while scoring nearly 25 points per game.

Under his leadership, the Broncos ranked among the top teams in the CIAA in passing efficiency, with a team average of 7.0 yards per attempt and 12 passing touchdowns. The offense also excelled in protection, allowing just 19 sacks over 9 games, and converting over 40% of third downs. In the red zone, the team was highly efficient, scoring on 29 of 32 trips, including 21 touchdowns.

  • Julian Milligan, who led the team in rushing with 259 yards on 62 carries (4.2 avg).
  • Joe Owens, the starting quarterback, who helped guide the passing attack to over 2,000 yards on the season.
  • Caden Davis, who emerged as a red-zone threat with 7 rushing touchdowns on limited touches.

Before his arrival at Fayetteville, Magouirk spent the 2023 season at South Carolina State, where his offense ranked #5 in FCS in rushing and #1 in sacks allowed, and produced a Freshman All-American in running back Jawarn Howell.

From 2017 to 2022, Magouirk served as Offensive Coordinator at Methodist University, where he led record-breaking offenses and developed standout players like Brandon Bullins, who threw for 8,920 yards in 34 games.

Earlier in his career, Magouirk coached internationally in Australia and developed record-setting quarterback Malcolm Long during his first stint at South Carolina State.

A native of Mandeville, Louisiana, Magouirk is a 2001 graduate of the University of South Carolina, holding a B.S. in Retail Management. He currently resides in Fayetteville, NC.
