Dominic Anderson joined the football coaching staff at Fayetteville State University in 2021. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in 2005, where he displayed his athletic prowess as a running back and defensive back for the Demon Deacons.

Anderson obtained a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in sociology before pursuing his master’s degree in athletic coaching from West Virginia University, which he completed in 2017. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at the University of Pikeville.

In 2021, Anderson was selected by the Chicago Bears for the NFL Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship. During this period, he was part of Matt Eberflus’ staff for the mini-camp and training camp, effectively gaining valuable experience with NFL organizations, which could ultimately enrich his leadership at FSU.

Before his tenure at Fayetteville State University, Anderson served as the defensive coordinator for the University of Pikeville football team for three years. Prior to his graduation from Wake Forest University, he contributed as a graduate assistant coach for a season and later served as the defensive backs coach at Illinois State University for three seasons. Preceding his role at the University of Pikeville, he spent a year as the DB coach at St. Francis (Ill.) and subsequently assumed the position of head coach at South Plantation High School in Plantation, Fla.

Anderson and his wife Stephanie are blessed with children, Charlie (4) and Emory (1), and they recently welcomed their baby boy, Isaiah.
