Christopher Gordon is a tight end and defensive end for Fayetteville State University. A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, Gordon graduated from Sumter High School in 2024, where he devoted his athletic career exclusively to football. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 215 pounds, he brings a unique combination of size, athleticism, and versatility to the Broncos' program.
As a freshman, Gordon quickly made an impact at the collegiate level, earning All-Rookie Team honors. His most memorable athletic accomplishment came when he recorded his first collegiate sack, a moment he considers his favorite sports memory.
Away from the field, Gordon is pursuing a degree in Mass Communications & Media Studies and is expected to graduate in 2028. Following graduation, he hopes to work as a Director of Recruiting/Personnel for a football program and is also interested in serving in the military.
Before competition, Gordon focuses on mobility work and stretching as part of his pregame routine. He mentally prepares by keeping to himself and manifesting a strong performance. He credits his coaches as his biggest athletic influence and enjoys bowling and shooting in his free time.
Gordon is the son of Danielle Jones and Shawn Gordon.
