Cheyenne Payne is a freshman nursing major at Fayetteville State University, hailing from Hollywood, FL. Born on February 3, Cheyenne stands at 5'1". She bats and throws right-handed. A proud alumna of Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School, Cheyenne has quickly made a name for herself at FSU, enjoying the camaraderie of her new friends. Unique in her dislike for getting her nails done, Cheyenne draws inspiration from her mother, who has taught her to be a strong, independent woman. With aspirations to become a travel nurse and explore the world, Cheyenne prepares for game day by listening to upbeat music.

Outside of softball and academics, Cheyenne loves spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, and exploring new places. She has a passion for cooking and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in her free time. Cheyenne is also an avid reader, often getting lost in mystery novels. Her favorite way to unwind after a long day is by watching her favorite TV shows or catching up on the latest movies with friends. Cheyenne's dedication to her studies and her sport, combined with her vibrant personality, make her a valued member of the FSU community.
