Fayetteville State University Athletics

Benjamin Jones is a junior defensive back for the Fayetteville State University Broncos. A native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Jones brings size, speed, and instinct to the FSU secondary. He earned varsity letters all three years at Stroudsburg High School, where he also competed in track and field. After a stint at Lackawanna College, Jones transferred to FSU to continue pursuing his passion for football and academics.

His most memorable sports moment came when he snagged an interception against nationally ranked Snow College, showcasing his playmaking ability on a big stage. Off the field, Benjamin is a Psychology major with aspirations of becoming a therapist. He credits his mother, Margaret Jones, as the most influential person in his life for instilling the value of hard work.

In his free time, Benjamin enjoys playing video games, watching anime, and playing the piano—a hidden talent that reflects his creative side. He chose FSU for the opportunity to continue playing the sport he loves while growing academically and personally.
