Biography
Amihan Johnson is a senior middle blocker for the Fayetteville State University women’s volleyball team, known for her athleticism, consistency, and leadership on the court. A native of Tacoma, Washington, Johnson was a standout at Fife High School, earning 2x MVP honors, First Team All-League recognition, and a spot on the 2A All-State team.
She began her collegiate career at the University of New Haven, where she was named to the 2022 NE-10 All-Rookie Team and helped lead her team to a 2023 NE-10 Conference Championship. Since transferring to FSU, Johnson has continued to excel, earning First Team All-Conference honors in 2024 and receiving the Academic Excellence Award in 2025.
Off the court, Johnson is majoring in Information Systems and Business Analytics and plans to pursue a career as a business analyst or statistician. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and working out in her free time. She credits her parents as the most influential people in her life, always offering support and positivity throughout her journey.
Johnson chose Fayetteville State for its close-knit, family-like atmosphere and the competitive spirit of its volleyball program—an environment where she continues to thrive both academically and athletically.
