Biography
Mya Sanders is a dedicated student pursuing a major in Forensic Science at FSU. As a sophomore, she stands at 5'4" and hails from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Mya's passion for sports led her to become a valuable member of the Blue Squad. Her strong leadership skills were recognized when she was appointed as the team captain for the 2023-24 season.
Aside from her athletic pursuits, Mya is also focused on her academic and career goals. She aspires to become a crime scene investigator and aims to work her way up to the FBI. Mya's parents, April and Larry Sanders have been the driving force behind her aspirations, making them the most influential figures in her life.
In her free time, Mya enjoys crocheting, showcasing her creative side. She holds fond memories of her first college basketball game, where she had the exhilarating experience of cheering for her team. Mya chose FSU because she felt an instant connection with the campus and believed it provided the right environment for her to grow personally and academically.
