Mariah Boyd is a freshman at FSU, majoring in Psychology with a passion for becoming a licensed psychologist with her own private practice after completing her Master's degree. Born on December 19, 2004, in Farmers Union, North Carolina, Mariah stands tall at 5'7". She graduated from East Columbus High School in 2024 and was the captain of the cheer team during the 2022-2023 season. Mariah enjoys listening to music, dancing, and writing in her free time. Her hidden talent is being able to "semi" play the clarinet. She chose FSU for its close-knit community and the sense of belonging she felt during her first visit to the campus. The most influential person in her life is her mother, who has instilled in her positive characteristics such as humility, generosity, resiliency, and honesty.
