Fayetteville State University Athletics

Alyssa Meeks is a junior member of the Fayetteville State University cheerleading program and a native of Raeford, North Carolina. A graduate of Hoke County High School, Meeks joined the Broncos after attending North Carolina Central University, bringing valuable experience and enthusiasm to the squad.

A Biology major, Meeks is committed to a career in healthcare and plans to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in postpartum care. Her passion for helping others and improving the lives of families drives her both academically and professionally.

Meeks chose Fayetteville State because it provided greater opportunities while allowing her to remain closer to home and her support system. As a member of the Broncos cheerleading team, she is proud to represent the university while continuing to develop both as a student and an athlete.

Away from the sidelines, Meeks enjoys cooking, baking, dancing, and playing games. She credits her aunt as her biggest athletic influence, recognizing the encouragement, guidance, and support she has received throughout her journey.

Known for her positive attitude and strong work ethic, Meeks balances the demands of academics and athletics while pursuing her long-term career goals. Her dedication to personal growth and service reflects the values she brings to Fayetteville State and the cheerleading program.

As she continues her collegiate career, Meeks looks forward to making an impact on the Broncos cheer squad while preparing for a future devoted to caring for others in the healthcare field.
