FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – After a four‑month break from competition, the Fayetteville State University golf team returns to tournament play at the Barton Spring Bulldog Clash on February 23–24 at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, S.C. The event marks the beginning of the Broncos' spring season as they look to build on a productive and encouraging fall campaign.

Fayetteville State enters the spring ranked No. 148 nationally and No. 13 in the Atlantic Region with a 302.9 adjusted scoring average through 15 rounds. The Broncos posted one team victory, one top‑three finish, and a 25‑23 head‑to‑head record during the fall semester.

Fall Season Recap

The Broncos' highlight performance came at the SAS HBCU Invitational, where they earned first place with a three‑round total of 871 (290–295–286). The final‑round 286 stands as one of the team's best competitive rounds of the season. FSU also secured top‑five finishes at the UC Invitational and the Rodeo at the Ridge, showing steady progress throughout the fall.

Additional appearances included the Griffin Invitational and the Bluefield State Intercollegiate, where Fayetteville State produced multiple lineup improvements and a strong final‑round trend.
