Fayetteville State University's volleyball team hits the road this weekend for the
Valkyries Invitational, hosted by
Converse University in Spartanburg, SC. The Broncos will face three strong opponents over two days, including a highly anticipated match against
Lynn University, the reigning NCAA Division II National Champions.
The tournament follows a strong showing by Fayetteville State at the North Greenville Tournament last weekend, where the Broncos earned early-season recognition for standout individual performances. Outside hitter

CIAA Week #1 Offensive Player of the Week after leading the team with dynamic scoring and consistent attacking. Setter
Giovanna Teixeira earned

Tournament Schedule:
Friday, September 12
🕒 3:00 PM — vs. Erskine College
