ARCHDALE, NC - The CIAA Southern Division Tournament at Holly Ridge Golf Links in Archdale, NC on March 3-4, concluded with a thrilling finish. Fayetteville State emerged victorious, narrowly edging out Chowan and Livingstone in a closely contested battle. Fayetteville State finished with a total score of 883 (294, 287, 302), narrowly edging out Chowan (288,290,306) and Livingstone (299, 286, 299), who both tied for second place with scores of 884.
Allan Terrazas delivered an impressive performance at the CIAA Southern Division Tournament, leading Fayetteville State to victory. Over the three rounds, Allan showcased his consistency and skill, scoring 73, 72, and 75, respectively. His second round was particularly notable, where he managed to secure three birdies, contributing significantly to his team's overall score. In the first round, he also recorded birdies on holes 3 and 7, and in the third round, he added another birdie on hole 4.
The FSU Golf team will travel to Wilson, NC on March 10-11 to compete in the Barton College Intercollegiate at the Wilson Country Club.
