Caleb Simmons as week #4 Player of the Week.
Simmons, a senior computer science major from Newburgh, NY, had an outstanding week. He reached a significant milestone by scoring his 1000th career point, a testament to his consistent excellence and dedication to the game. Over the two games, he accumulated a total of 55 points, averaging 27.5 points per game. His scoring was complemented by his impressive rebounding, with a total of 22 rebounds. Simmons also contributed 4 assists and 4 steals. His shooting efficiency was also remarkable, with a field goal percentage of 63% (17-27), a three-point percentage of 53.8% (7-13), and a free throw percentage of 87.5% (14-16).Â
In addition, in the game against USC Aiken, Simmons had one of his best games this season. He scored a career-high 34 points as well as a season-high performance with 5 made 3-point field goals and 15 rebounds.Â
Simmons' scoring ability, efficiency, and all-around contributions make him a valuable asset for the Broncos.Â
