CLARION, PA --The Fayetteville State volleyball team took the first set, but couldn't hang on and fell in four sets (25-17, 16-25, 13-25, 13-25) to the Clarion (PA) Golden Eagles Saturday on the road at Tippin Gymnasium in the Tony Banner Memorial Volleyball Tournament.
The non-conference loss moved Fayetteville State to 2-2 on the season with Clarion improving to 4-0.
A'Lexus Everett finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Broncos attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .529. got 8 digs from Aliyah Brown to lead them defensively.
