SALISBURY, NC --Bailey Robinson totaled 11 kills with a .846 attack percentage to help propel the Fayetteville State volleyball team to a 3-0 victory (26-24, 25-14, 25-20) against the Livingstone Blue Bears Thursday on the road at New Trent Gym.
The conference victory improved Fayetteville State's record to 9-9 overall and 8-2 in CIAA play. Livingstone is now 0-14 and 0-11.
The Broncos attack also included 10 kills from Casandra Watson, who was hitting .412. Xiamana Spikes finished with seven kills. Alexia Bryant and Kyra Webb put down two service aces a piece. Fayetteville State attackers were helped by a match-high 27 assists from Webb. Defensively, FSU had three players reach double figures in digs, including Kyra Webb's 11, 10 from Aeyane Mattress, and 10 more from Alexia Bryant.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Broncos came out on top of a close first set, winning 26-24 in a stanza that was tied three times and had two lead changes. Fayetteville State also supplemented their offense with three aces in the opening set.
SET 2 | Fayetteville State took set two 25-14 to swiftly take a 2-0 lead. The Broncos grabbed control of the set lead early on at 5-4 and never trailed. Fayetteville State opened its biggest lead of the stanza, 11 points, to close out the set.
SET 3 | Fayetteville State then sealed the sweep with a victory in set number three. The Broncos took the set 25-20 powered by a strong performance on the attacking side. Fayetteville State registered a .387 attack percentage with 16 kills in the set win. The Broncos opened up a 24-17 lead in the stanza and coasted to victory from there.
