Tigerville, SC – Fayetteville State ended its first day of competition at the North Greenville Tournament with a 3-2 decision against its host. FSU (1-1 overall) jumped ahead 2-0 in the best out of five format with scores of 30-28 and 26-24. Da'Nesha Miller helped the effort with a triple double performance of 14 kills, 19 assists, and 15 digs.
Kalee Vanderhorst also chipped in 14 kills from a team-high 38 attacks.
Jaida Bynum was the primary assist leader with 25 while
