Fayetteville, NC – The CIAA Southern Division Champions, Fayetteville State volleyball team, will advance to the CIAA Semifinal Rounds in Bowie, Maryland after sweeping Saint Augustine's 3-0 in Capel Arena. Two-time All-CIAA performer Da'Nesha Miller led the match with a double-double of 13 kills and 10 assists as the Broncos won by sets of 25-13, 25-10, and 30-28. Setter Jaida Bynum finished with a total of 23 assists and libero Jasmine Jacinto had 13 digs.
 
Before the match, All-CIAA honorees were honored as well as the Broncos were presented with the Divisional trophy. Miller was named First Team All-Conference as a utility player. Xiamana Spikes was honored as a middle hitter/blocker. Jasmine Jacinto was called out for the All-CIAA Second Team as a libero as well as Ashlyn Bradley at the middle hitter/blocker spot.
 
Madison Jones led the Saint Augustine's effort with seven kills followed by Lisanne Roofe's and Meagan Williams' five kills each. Sydney Moore had 15 assists and Janina Mayers finished with 10 digs.
 
Fayetteville State will face off against the Vikings at 5:00 pm on the campus of Bowie State University.
