Charlotte, NC -- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced the brackets for its 2020 Women's and Men's Basketball Tournament. The single-elimination tournament will be held in two venues again this year: Bojangles' Coliseum February 25-26 and Spectrum Center February 27-29. Championship games will tip-off at 1:00 p.m. for the women followed by the men at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 29.
Fayetteville State University clinched the women's Southern Division title and the top seed with a 15-2 conference record. The men secured the three seed with a 10-7 conference record.
Fayetteville State will be the opening act for the Men's quarterfinal action on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. versus Shaw. The quarterfinals continue on Thursday as Virginia Union awaits the Fayetteville State/Shaw winner at 7 p.m.
In the women's quarterfinals, Fayetteville State will await the winner between Elizabeth City State and Saint Augustine's for a 2:20 p.m. tipoff on Wednesday.
