Final Stats

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Shavonda Price led all players with 21 points as Johnson C. Smith stayed unbeaten in CIAA play after defeating Fayetteville State 80-55 in Brayboy Gymnasium on Saturday night.

Price led four Lady Golden Bulls players in double figures. Terran Quattlebaum had 15 points while LaQwesha Gamble had a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Racquel Davis chipped in 10 points for Johnson C. Smith (14-3, 8-0, 2-0).

The Lady Broncos (7-9, 1-6, 0-2) were led by Tashama Banner's (Sr., Fayetteville, N.C,) 11 points while Alicia Person (So., Henderson, N.C.) added 10 points. DaQuondra Cuthbertson (Jr., Spencer, N.C.) had eight points and a team--high six rebounds.

Fayetteville State played well in the first half, finishing the opening period shooting better than 45 percent from the field. Still, Johnson C. Smith managed to build a 49-35 lead at the break.

Fayetteville State travels to Shaw for a 6 p.m. tip on Monday night.
