FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Fayetteville State Lady Broncos got back to their winning ways on Thursday night after dispatching Coker College with ease in straight sets at Felton J. Capel Arena.

The Lady Broncos (15-12), who had dropped two straight matches for the first time since mid-September, rolled to a 25-14, 25-9, 25-19 victory.

LaToya Harvin (Fr., Bell Glade, Fla.) and Ifeyinwa Nwokolo (Jr., Greensboro, N.C.) had a match-high seven kills apiece while JaMisha Jordan (So., Fayetteville, N.C.) led all players with 23 assists to go with four service aces. Fayetteville State, among the nation's leaders in aces per set, totaled a staggering 13 aces in just three sets, getting four from Joi Emanuel (Jr., Hope Mills, N.C.) and two each from Nikita Cheadle (Fr., Hope Mills, N.C.) and Molly Farrington (So., Fayetteville, N.C.).

Fayetteville State was never threatened in the match, using long scoring runs in each set to take control. The Lady Broncos led by at least 10 points at some point in each game, drubbing the Lady Cobras (7-14) in a match that took just 63 minutes to complete.

Fayetteville State returns to CIAA play at St. Augustine's on Oct. 24 and then home again for Senior Night in the home finale against Shaw on Oct. 26.
