Final Stats

SALISBURY, NC - The Fayetteville State Lady Broncos are back to their winning ways.

Ifeyinwa Nwokolo had a game-high 13 kills and All-CIAA outside hitter Samantha Meeks had 12 kills as the Lady Broncos won their 10th match in 10 days in straight sets over Livingstone.

Fayetteville State (8-3, 8-3) won by the scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-24 in a match that took barely an hour to complete.

Fellow All-CIAA player Achari Mainor led all players with 27 assists for the Broncos, who played seven matches in a span of a week throughout the CIAA Roundup events. Joi Emanuel added six kills and Octavia Wynn had five as JaMisha Jordan chipped in 10 digs.

Michelle Thompson led Livingstone (6-7, 4-5) with 10 kills while Shannon Allen had 11 assists.

Fayetteville State finally gets an extended break from the floor, and will play again Tuesday, Sept. 28, when it hosts St. Augustine's at 6 p.m.at Felton J. Capel Arena.
