Final Stats

CHARLOTTE, NC - Fayetteville State had to fight off an upset-minded Johnson C. Smith in volleyball on Monday night - at least in the second set.

Aside from that, the Lady Broncos rolled again.

Fayetteville State completed a regular season sweep of the Lady Golden Bulls with a straight-set victory on the road, winning by the scores of 25-15, 28-26 and 25-18.

Ifeyinwa Nwokolo (So., Greensboro, NC) led the Lady Broncos (10-4, 10-3) with a game-high 13 kills while Samantha Meeks (Sr., Laurinburg, NC) added nine. Achari Mainor (Sr., Antioch, CA) led all players with 26 assists. JaMisha Jordan (Fr., Fayetteville, NC) added five digs and Jessica Hardy (Fr., Fayetteville, NC) had six kills.

Jennifer Williams led the Lady Golden Bulls' (6-12, 4-7) offensive attack with seven kills. Freshmen setter Kayla Bazemore and defensive specialist Sharelle Hatley tallied four digs apiece.

Fayetteville State travels to UNC Pembroke on Thursday for a 7 p.m. match.
