Lady Broncos will wear pink Uniforms

FAYETTEVILLE STATE SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS THORUGH BASKETBALL

Fayetteville, NC - Fayetteville State University will participate in The WBCA Pink ZoneTM during Saturday's basketball contest versus Livingstone College. The WBCA Pink ZoneTM initiative is a global, unified effort for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The Lady Broncos has incorporated this effort in support of Breast Cancer Awareness will wear pink uniforms during the 5:30 pm game. The men's basketball coaches will be joining in this endeavor by wearing tennis shoes. All breast cancer survivors are invited to attend the game for free and have an opportunity to sit with Chancellor & Mrs. Anderson in the "Pink Zone". All event attendees are asked to wear pink.

Survivors who plan to attend the game should contact Tamara Holmes, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Development, to receive tickets for the game and to sit with the Chancellor and Mrs. Anderson.
