Final Stats

RALEIGH - The Fayetteville State volleyball team just keeps on winning.

A 3-0 (25-23, 25-11, 25-23) victory over St. Augustine's on Tuesday was the Broncos' sixth straight win overall and eighth straight in the CIAA.

FSU's last conference loss was a 3-1 loss to Elizabeth City State on Sept. 12 during the CIAA Roundup.

The Broncos' (11-7, 9-1 CIAA) last overall loss was a 3-1 defeat at the hands of The University of North Carolina Pembroke on Sept. 16.

Samantha Meeks sparked the Broncos with a match-high 12 kills and two-time CIAA Player of the Year Chekimbrell Jefferson added 10 kills. Junior setter Achari Mainor collected 31 assists and tied senior Cailee Huffman with eight digs for the Broncos.

FSU will travel to Livingstone on Tuesday to face the Blue Bears at 6 p.m.
