DAY 1: We started off the day meeting with all the coaches, returning, transfers, freshmen, and walk-on players. Afterwards, we separated into our individual groups to go over installments for the day, draw ups, and the depth chart.
At the beginning of practice, we had a conditioning test. Everyone passed thank God. That showed that everyone was working to get better during the summer. After the test, practice officially begun. We started off with the basics - stretching and getting loose. We then split off into our individual positions and worked hard at bettering ourselves. After about 20 minutes into it, we had a weather delay of heavy rain, lighting, and hail. After the delay, we came back out to stretch again and continued on with the regular schedule.
Overall, day one was a typical day one. We did some great things but we also had mistakes. So now, we can get a general idea on the things we lack and try to make them our perfect strengths. Building everyone up to having the same mentality, the WINNING attitude by any means necessary.
