FSU PRESS CONFERENCE: The FSU Pigskin Press Talk at "Docks at the Capital" is held every Wednesday during the football season. The Athletic Department has teamed with Docks at the Capital, located near the center of downtown Fayetteville, to bring you a press luncheon with Head Coach Kenny Phillips and selected student-athletes. The Press Talk will be webcast LIVE at www.fsubroncos.com.

THE EVENT: Fayetteville State, who is on a three-game win streak, will face Chowan University for the first time is school history. The Broncos, 2-0 in CIAA play, will concentrate on one opponent at a time as they stampede towards the CIAA Championships and beyond. Today's event is the second home game of the schedule

THE SERIES: Chowan University and Fayetteville State University has never played each other on the grid-iron. This season, the Hawks football program has been accepted into the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and is eligible for championship play. Since the 2005-06 season, Chowan has competed as an NCAA Division II Independent. The institution was classified as a NCAA Division III in 1995 and competed as a two-year junior college from the early 1930s through 1992.
