Bluefield, WV -- The Fayetteville State University Broncos bounce back from a loss with a 80-66 victory over Bluefield State College in men's basketball action inside Ned Scott Gymnasium on Saturday evening.

Junior guard Andy Gebru led FSU with an impressive stat line of 28 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and three steals (team-high in each category). Gebru made seven 3-pointers, as a team the Broncos shot 29-for-61 (48 percent) from the field.

FSU was up by as much as 25 with less than nine minutes remaining in the second half. The Broncos' bench contributed 32 points outscoring the Bluefield reserves who produced 21 points.

Fayetteville State improves their overall record this season to 5-6. After several road opponents, the Broncos will return home to face Virginia Union University in CIAA action. The contest will take place Tuesday, January 8th at 7:30pm. FSU is currently 1-2 in the conference standings.
