Fayetteville, NC - Fayetteville State University Women's Basketball Coach, Eric Tucker is ranked among NCAA Division II national leaders for coaches with the best winning percentage. Fayetteville State University's enthusiastic leader is ranked 39th with a career winning percentage of .632.

To be ranked, a coach must have been coaching a minimum of five years as a Division II head coach. Tucker has been coaching at Fayetteville State University for 15 years and has compiled a career record of 263-153. "I very humbly appreciate the recognition and strive for more success in the future," Tucker's response when asked about the honor.

Only Jacques Curtis of Shaw University is the only other Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) coach with a better record than Tucker. The Shaw coach is ranked 11th with a winning percentage of .733
